History: Merlot is one of the basic red grape varieties grown in Medi Valley’s vineyards. This gave the opportunity to experiment with different methods for vines growing and creating wines with different styles after that. This wine has an accent on the specificity of pure variety Merlot. It expresses the terroir and at the same time has the idea of a good year.
Vinification: Selected grapes from own vineyard. Precisely sorted on a double sorting table. Maceration for 25 days. Fermentation in inox barrels at a temperature 25-30°С. Matured in French oak barrels “barrique” type for 12 months. As well as the other red wines it is unfiltered to keep to a maximum extent the richness of its flavor and its body.
Tasting notes: The color is dark red. The flavor is composition of red forest fruits, chocolate, coconut, vanilla and spices. The taste is rich and full, the body is voluminous and juicy with ripe sweetness, a lot of fruit and velvet softness. The aftertaste is long lasting, with sense for sweetness and chocolate.
