Pét-Nat Riesling Extra Brut 2021, Tsarev Brod Winery, Danube Plain, Bulgaria

A favourite bubbly of ours made by our good friend Niki Krastev, the head winemaker of Tsarev Brod winery, using the Ancestral Method - the oldest version of sparkling wine making. Gently fizzy, with light apricot colour and fresh intense notes of lemon, apple and yellow fruits, fine and persistent mousse. Our choice for a festive aperitif.  

Yerevan Winemakers White Blend 2020, Armenia Wine Company, Armenia

Our first wine discovery from Armenia, blend of their native white varieties Kangun and Rkatsiteli, a vibrant white with aromas of quince, white flowers and pear, mineral, crispy and very refreshing on the palate with further notes of lime, fennel and tarragon. We recommend it with roast turkey, or guinea fowl or game bird dishes.

Synergy Sauvignon Blanc & Pinot Gris 2019, Midalidare Estate, Thracian Valley, Bulgaria

An extremely fresh and zippy blend of 85% Sauvignon Blanc and 15% Pinot Gris from Shipkata and Prisovete single vineyards. Intriguing floral nose with further notes on the palate of freshly moaned grass, ripe lemon, elderberry and juicy passion fruit. Excellent as an aperitif or with salads, smoked salmon, roast vegetables.

Melnik Rosé 2020, Orbelia winery, Struma Valley, Bulgaria

A beautiful light salmon coloured rosé from Orbelia’s own 38 year old vineyards on the hills around Mitinovo village in Struma Valley. Harnmoniously textured with exotic notes dominated by mature citrus, tropical red fruits, gentle lemongrass and light spiciness. Great on its own or with Asian or Mexican dishes.

Tribun 2018, Alira Winery, Dobrogea, Romania

A great value new with us Romanian red blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and their signature Feteasca Neagra, aged for 3 months in French oak barrels. Ruby coloured with garnet hues, intense cherry, cardamom, dark chocolate and pepper notes, fine grained tannins. Enjoy along your roast pork or lamb chops.

Organic Cabernet Sauvignon & Mavrud “Cherno” 2015, Neragora Estate, Thracian Valley, Bulgaria

An organic red blend from the glorious 2015 vintage - well mature, rich and intense bursting with plums, blackberries, spices, leather and dark chocolate, very well integrated tannins and a long, complex finish. Great with your roast beef and steaks.
