Beautiful garnet with aromas of ripe cherries, medium bodied, juicy and rich, loads of red forest fruits and herbs, very pleasant fruity finish. Enjoy with roast white meats, lamb or soft cheeses.
Evmolpia, 2019, Tsarev Brod Winery, Black Sea Coast An local Bulgarian red variety created by crossing Merlot and Mavrud, from a single vineyard and aged for 8 months in 400 litre French oak barrels. Intense purple with notes of blackberries and plums, Medium to full bodied with lovely freshness and concentration. Lovely with wild mushroom dishes.
3 Blend Red, 2015, Bratanov Family Winery, Sakar Mountain Bratanovi’s twist on a Bordeaux blend - a blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Rubin with a total of 36 months of ageing in different oak barrels plus more bottle age. Intense crimson colour, plenty of ripe red fruits and dark chocolate on the nose, rich and juicy with further notes of tobacco and leather and velvety tannins. Screams for venison, wild boar or matured hard cheeses.
