GRAPES: 60% Sauvignon Blanc, 20% Chardonnay and 20% Traminer
WINEMAKING: The 3 different grape varieties are picked at the same time in the middle of September 2018 from Tsarev Brod winery’s own vineyard near the city of Shumen, Danube plain, North Eastern Black Sea coast of Bulgaria. They are crushed and fermented together (the winemaking technique known as seepage) at controlled temperature of 14-16° in small stainless steel tanks for 30 days. The wine was aged on its lees for five months and then bottled at the end of March 2019.
COLOUR: Straw yellow with green hues
NOSE: Intense aromas of apples, honey and nuts
PALATE: Medium bodied with notes of white flowers, Mediterranean herbs, dried fruits. Soft and lively with refreshing acidity and long fruity finish.
FOOD MATCH: As an aperitif or with shellfish, salads, spiced chicken
