Black Sea Gold distillery has a long history of excellence. The surrounding Pomorie region sets a record of turbulent history and remarkable wine and spirits traditions. For hundreds of years, the legend about the glorious Pomorie wines has been passed on from generation to generation. These wines were frequent and desired guests at the royal table in Ancient Troy and in the medieval cities of Genoa and Venice. The distillery carries these traditions and nowadays owns over 650 hectares of vineyards neat the Black sea coast, 12000 oak barrels for aging of rakia distillates as well as 8 original Charentais pot stills from the Cognac region in France, which help to make some of the highest quality rakia and brandy in Southeastern Europe.
