Bononia Estate

The history of Bononia Estate is like a journey through the ages, starting from the times of the Roman Empire. At the end of 19th century one of the first breweries in the country was created on the site of Bononia Estate, but in the years since 1989 it sank into oblivion. In 2013, already in modern Bulgaria, it was revived as a winery with modern technologies by Yotov family who love their region and are committed to doing business here. They are people who are in love with aviation and are guided by the belief that you should let your spirit fly in order to realise your dreams. The team of Bononia estate focuses on looking after vineyards and vinifying the indigenous Bulgarian variety Gamza - the signature red grape of Danube plain and North West Bulgaria.
