Arkana Borea – Born among the gusts of the winter winds, this rakia carries the strength and spirit of Boreas, the Greek god who rules the north.
Guided by a spirit of discovery and a natural inclination to experiment, the creators embarked on a winter adventure with Petit Manseng, grown on the cool shores of the Black Sea at Cape Kaliakra. This grape variety, renowned for producing delicate dessert wines, is typically harvested late at the end of November after the grapes have accumulated remarkable sweetness.
For Arkana Borea, the harvest took place in early December, making it their true winter rakia even a Christmas rakia, they like to say. The nearly raisined grapes yielded a spirit of remarkable depth, with ethereal aromas of honey, raisins, beeswax, and citrus.
