The vineyards used for the production of Arkana Barrel Aged Rakia lie on the gentle, hilly slopes of the Sredna Gora Mountains, near the village of Lesichovo, at 250–350 meters above sea level. Their orientation ensures even sunlight throughout the day, while the nearby Topolnitsa River moderates the local microclimate, allowing the grapes to ripen fully and harmoniously.

Cultivated organically without pesticides or herbicides the vines are nourished with natural manure and maintained through inter-row grassing. The estate covers 134 acres of vineyards, most of which are young (3–4 years old) and just entering their prime fruit-bearing stage. Alongside these, the winery is also restoring heritage plantings of Muscat Ottonel over 50 years old and maintains around 20 acres of mature vines aged 10–11 years.
