Arkana Zephyra
The gentlest of winds, Zephyr, is the harbinger of spring and fertility the breath that awakens the earth after the long winter. According to ancient sources, the god of the west wind and spring, Zephyrus, was said to dwell in a cave in Thrace on these very lands.
For this reason, the grape chosen for our spring rakia is Black Sea Elixir, a cross between Dimyat and Misket. It is grown organically in their “vineyard library” of forgotten Bulgarian varieties in the village of Lesichovo, Pazardzhik. The 15-year-old vines are harvested after mid-September, and fermentation takes place together with the skins to fully capture the variety’s aromatic character.
With a touch of mystery and the art of distillation, Arkana Zephyra comes to life mysterious and graceful, delicate and floral, like the first bloom of spring.
Its fragrance unfolds with notes of white and yellow blossoms, threaded with subtle hints of rose and violet. A brief rest in Bulgarian oak gently enhances its flavor a soft kiss that completes the harmony of the spirit.
Zephyra enchants with the springtime magic of a world awakening to new life.
